Work in progress (but nearly done)!

I’m still getting over a really bad cold and my energy for posting has been low, which is why it’s been a bit again. Luckily being laid up on the couch a lot lends itself to doing quite a bit of embroidery, even with all the sleeping, and this massive project is astonishingly near to being done.

This started as another (actually the first) free association doodle, and most of it happened while Mom and I were stuck sitting in the Houston airport waiting for our delayed flight to take off for four hours.

What’s making me happy this week:

Nearly ready to stretch and photograph a big embroidery, nearly over a cold, the Democratic campaign suddenly has a massive surge of energy and hope that’s reminding me very much of the first Obama run – everything’s coming up Milhouse.
