Weekly thingy and oops, forgot to mention.

I was feeling far enough behind on showing y’all the current project last week that I completely forgot I’d never told you the big news about the last one!

Also, here’s a ton of progress on Knittens – along with all the filling in I’ve reworked her hair a bit to balance out the updo part and extended her bangs down so that she has a potentially possible big poofy do instead of a full on sevenhead. I’m just starting on the kitten fill and I’m super happy so far with the texture of chainstitch to look like knitting.

What’s making me happy this week:

I’m deep in a rabbit hole of watching Lost in Adaptation videos on YouTube, and if hearing an in depth discussion of the successes and failures of adaptations from book to film/tv/theatre appeals to you I can’t recommend the channel enough. Dominic strikes a really nice balance for me of caring about the spirit of the book as much as specific details.
