Weekly thingy and ornamental stabbing.

I’m working extra hours this week at my day job, but I’m also very in need of the relaxation that comes with embroidery, so I expect to keep making at least some progress here. Right now I’m doing blocks of satin stitch facing opposite directions to make the tufted chair and I think I’m pretty pleased with the effect.

What’s making me happy this week:

My mom is recovering from her knee replacement and seems to be regaining mobility pretty quickly, which is a big relief since it would be insanely hard for me to be around much to physically help her right now.
