Oh wow, it’s been a month, huh?

Hiiiiiii, sorry! I haven’t disappeared off the face of the Earth – work got crazy, the world continued to be crazy, and I just haven’t been finding energy for posting.

I do have stuff to share, though, even if it’s not a ton – work involved a lot of very intensive hand work for a few weeks and I was once again mostly trying to rest in my off hours. Among other things all of the gaiters for the French army were insanely stiff, so I was helping repeatedly oil and massage them into submission, and it was EXHAUSTING.

Anyway, I did finally get good pictures of the two related embroideries, PLUS a very amateur video of one of them. Leave your sound off, there’s nothing to hear but background noise.

Happy is a high bar right now. I am grateful for the continued resistance to the fascist regime terrorizing all of us and I hope we can continue to gain momentum in fighting back and resisting this madness.
