Anyway, I’ve realized that I really need to stop telling people that Houston is awesome, because it’s too damn crowded already. I take it all back! We have no vibrant, exciting art scene! You can’t get food from anywhere in the world! Housing is expensive! There are no jobs! There are no trees or parks! Go awaaaaaaaaaay!

Austin is awesome. HOUSTON is awesome. St Louis is awesome. Chicago, San Diego, Boston, Kansas City… There is something awesome about damned near EVERYWHERE (except the center of Arkansas – that place is effed up). If people could just accept that and stop having to smack on everyplace that isn’t there “perfect place,” we’d all be better off.
