Hedy Lamarr, yo.  Gorgeous onscreen vamp/brilliant inventor, because clearly just starring in 30 films, having two children, and getting married 6 times isn’t enough to fill a life, so why not invent an improved traffic light, a dissolving carbonated drink tablet (apparently terrible), and, with George Antheil, frequency hopping technology, which became the basis for both wifi and Bluetooth?  What, what do you do on the weekends?

I was really tempted by a different quote — ‘Any girl can be glamorous.  All you have to do is stand still and look stupid’ — but it didn’t have much to do with her scientific work.
