Weeklyish thingy and baby Wanda! (the cat, not the Scarlet Witch)

I swear I love both of my new cat siblings very very much and there will definitely be a painting of Greedy sometime soon too, but LOOK at this offended baby in her cone.

She is the best little scamp and I do have an extra soft spot for a troublemaker. Don’t worry, she’s totally fine – she just got spayed (not a moment too soon, she’s just gone through a heat) and is very determined to lick her belly. Also she’s handling the collar so much better than Mooch did – while she’s clearly frustrated by it, it’s not inhibiting her from playing or eating or generally making trouble. Trust me, we had Thanksgiving dinner at my parents’ house, and she was just as determined as always to get her face in EVERYTHING.

What’s making me happy this week:

Several days off from work is always nice, and I got some chores and some creative stuff done. My mom’s been invited to go paint at Dickens on the Strand next weekend, so I got very taken up with making sure we had a costume together for her (and then me too, I’ll join her Saturday, although not to paint, just to have fun).
