Weekly thingy and more sewing!

This has not been my most productive week – I spent the first two days stapling tags to fabric ALL DAY and my left arm was WRECKED, so I’ve been laying off the embroidery a bit. Luckily I failed to post this last week, so behold, new to you progress!

You could not be blamed for having forgotten this project existed – I got frustrated with trying to make the snake square work and put it down for quite a while. But I’m still in an embroidering mood, so after I finished the big piece I picked it back up and I’ve been having a ball adding little critters.

What’s making me happy this week:

You mean besides the massive shift in mood for every Democrat with the huge swell of enthusiasm for the Harris-Walz ticket? Because that’s been AMAZING.

But also I got the big embroidery piece and two small related paintings into the WCA Arborea show, yay! I’ll post more details closer to the show but if you’re in the Houston area and want to see my work in person you’ll have a chance soon!
