Weekly thingy and back to embroidery

The next dumb project has begun! I’m using a piece of bamboo rayon (salvaged from an old sheet) layered over Aida cloth so that I have the grid for the blackwork, but a very smooth fabric for the satin stitching and french knots and such (yes, of course her hair is going to be all french knots because I clearly love to suffer).
