Remember how last week I said I was a stack of crows in a trenchcoat? There’s probably also a magpie or two in my coat pockets must make all the shinies.
I’ve had the burnout velvet that’s making the ground here for YEARS, it’s one of those swatches I snagged when either HGO or Houston Shakes was getting rid of the bits too small to be useful at the end of a show and it’s been begging to be in something forEVER. Yes, it was stupid to decide to appliqué the ground after doing her hair and the trees, and yes, doing appliqué with velvet means I have used up a lot of masking tape pulling lint back off, but WORTH IT.

I’ll take a quick video of this in better light tomorrow and throw it on the Facebook page and Mastodon so y’all can see the sparkle if you want.

Places to buy stuff!
Did I miss something? I think that’s everything.

What’s making me happy this week:
I’m having a real geriatric fiction moment between my library hold of the second Thursday Murder Club coming up, Thelma becoming available on Hulu, and A Man on the Inside on Netflix and it’s DELIGHTFUL. Oh, and I finished Only Murders in the Building, so yup, old people getting into mischief is apparently my jam right now.
