Still sort of weekly thingy!

Obviously the weekend got away from me but tada, progress!

I am SO HAPPY with how my idea for the tufted velvet chair worked out – it’s blocks of satin stitch going opposite directions and I think it’s really ended up looking like a button-back upholstery, I just have to decide if I want to add beads at the junctures and finish the woodwork.

What’s making me happy this week:

I spent Saturday at Magical Sparkle Muffin’s house and I can’t not mention it because getting to spend time with friends and their pets has been rare lately. But ALSO I went ahead and bought the desperately needed new fridge I’ve been planning on before the whole buying anything at all in the US situation gets even worse, and the delivery guys had a hell of a time squeezing it in, if it were one inch deeper or wider I’d be fucked, but it fits! And tonight I get to put food in it! Huzzah, fridge that isn’t at least 25 years old with shot seals!

Anyhow I feel like y’all deserve a photo of a cute puppy, here’s Janeway gazing longingly through the friend portal to the room where the cats go to get away from her puppy bullshit.
