Apparently bimonthly thingy!

I’m starting the part of the year where I get to use up all my accrued PTO so posting is about to either get way more regular or I’ll just lose track of time entirely. Place your bets!

Squirrel brain has had me jumping about on this a bit but hah, you can’t tell at this point that I got halfway through her chemise, stopped to try out like five different colors of beads on the chair, and then went back to the chemise. Right now I’m making the 3D lace around her neckline and it is just a ton of fun. I also had an idea about how I can put graduated padding on the lower half of the yarn ball to make it more 3D without massively fucking with where the kitten is holding it so that’s probably my next stop before I start filling in knee cat.

What’s making me happy this week:

I got my bathroom repainted in a nice rosy cream semigloss (fuck you old owner and your dead flat yellowish white paint that you didn’t even do a good job with) and it’s makes my me very very happy that it’s done and looks pretty ok despite there being a few corners in the inner bathroom that I just couldn’t get into between the tight quarters and toilet/tub/over toilet cabinet. I started taping the painted areas in the kitchen to get the same paint, but those will get tackled end of this coming week when I’m off work again.
