I hope y’all love cats because this trend shows no sign of stopping, although I do have some fun little Sculpey projects to show you AFTER they get gifted.
I finished this one a while back, but it was a commission ANd a gift from the commissioner to someone else, so I really couldn’t share till I knew they had received it.
One of the sweetest cats I ever had (and one of the only cats I ever got to name) was a little soft grey boi named Patrick Greyfur, Esq., and this kitty doesn’t necessarily LOOK like him, but he reminded me of Patrick very much regardless.

Anyhow now I’m already finishing up one commission and working on another weird kitty (this one covered in flower and vines), so the feline parade will definitely continue.

Places to buy stuff!
Did I miss something? I think that’s everything.

What’s making me happy this week:
Time off work is always great, and I got to see my brother and sister-in-law, which happens pretty rarely considering we live in the same (fucking massive) state. We did a lot of lovely hanging out, including some meals out, at the parents’ house with the kitty siblings, and a trip to the MFAH to see the current Kehinde Wiley exhibit and HOLY SHIT if you’re in Houston go see it. I know it’s not news to anyone at this point what an amazing artist he is, but this was the first time I’d seen his newer bronze sculptures and they just glow with life. And if you’ve only seen his work in reproductions, it’s just not the same – the paintings lose so much depth and life and expression even in the best photos. Go see his art in person any time you can.
If there’s any justice in the universe, these kitty commissions are generating mucho more kitty commissions. (Lovely work, by the way.)
PS. I’m mostly catching up looking at your emails.
