The dress is decorated! And now I’ve moved on to making the heavy curtains hanging behind her with this fabulous variegated fingering yarn I found. In chatting with a friend today I think I also decided to do the rugs on the floor with yarn couched down in spirals like a rag rug, I think that’ll balance out the weight of the curtains nicely and I definitely have lots of yarns in my stash to choose from.

Crafting and hanging out with a friend today! I’m hoping to make meeting up with friends for this sort of thing more regular in my life again – at least until the opera season smacks me in the face and takes away my free time.
