Welp, I’m 48 now. Yay?
In other news, a wee little project or two is happening before I tackle the first tarot card face. Behold! A lil witchy locket!

I had actually started embroidering the figure intending to make her sort of a moon goddess, but then suddenly thought ooh! She looks like a lil witch! I had SO much fun picking what went into the chain for this one, too – it’s two strands of one of my seed bead mixes and one strand of the same mix alternating with bugle beads, with a toggle clasp and a little center feature of the white pressed glass flower, green pressed glass leaf, and a blue goldstone ‘berry’. It’ll go up on my Etsy shop tonight if you want a ginger witch and her ginger cat to wear.

Places to buy stuff!
Did I miss something? I think that’s everything.

What’s making me happy this week:
Mooch did NOT disappear into my wall despite his best efforts! I had to get my AC fixed and the guy had to cut a small hole in the drywall to reach the drain. Luckily, he cut a nice clean piece out and I have now patched drywall a few times, so I did not have to find money for someone to do it for me. Unluckily, I needed to buy more joint compound. So I put a board in front of the home to keep Mooch out and while I was putting on shoes and grabbing my purse to go he shouldered the board aside and had his head and one paw already in the hole.
I pulled him out double quick, taped over the hole AGGRESSIVELY, and then spent an hour watching to make sure he couldn’t get through that before I left the house.
Anyhow – the hole is patched now, I still need to sand and paint but that probably won’t happen till the weekend, and Mooch remains trapped in my comfortable home full of toys and treats and cat luxuries instead of spelunking his way through the walls.
Also;
You can still go see my artwork plus a ton more in An Artist’s Work opens at Sawyer Yards through November 7th, go check it out! This is your chance to see The Red Shoes in person, along with the original painting for the Neurotic Owl’s Faerytale Tarot Hanged Man, based on the same fairytale because Hans Christian Andersen is my messy bisexual boi.
