Suffice it to say that I still bite my nails, a lot.

Oh, by the way, sorry I’ve been away for a few days — I was at a science fiction convention, which was fun if not amazing, so I’ll share some pictures soonish.  For now, I’ll just say that, in future, I need to check the guests & panels at cons BEFORE I devote a whole weekend to it, to see if it’s entirely focused on shows I don’t actually watch.  One day would have been more than sufficient, though the linguist panel I went to was fantastic.  It’s always delightful listening to a brilliant person enthuse about the thing they’re brilliant at, isn’t it?
