Neurotic Owl

flying through clouds of uncertainty on wings of existential dread

In which I yet again leap headfirst into learning a thing. Sooner or later, that’s going to backfire.

So after I finished my VERY FIRST SWEATER™ I was like, ok, time to do a little fun project with this alpaca yarn I bought at the quilt show before I do something else intense and long term.  Hey, I know, let’s learn to cable!

That is apparently not how a beginner learns to cable. Whatever, nothing exploded, everything’s great, I have a hat that makes me look like a cross between a pilgrim and an elf.

Places to buy stuff!

  • TEEPUBLIC: mostly t-shirts, a few other products.  Watch for sales, when shirts drop from $20 to $14!
  • REDBUBBLE: Just, I don’t know, a ton of different stuff.  T-shirts are more expensive than Teepublic, but there are a lot more options.
  • AMAZON: 2 colouring books, and now, a nearly-complete cartoon collection!  (Till I draw more.)

The Neurotic Owl Compendium: still flying through clouds of uncertainty on wings of existential dreadGeeky Gals Coloring BookDaydreams & Whimsies: A Most Fantastical Coloring Book

  • ETSY: beaded jewelry, bags of creepy tiny dolls, and The Neurotic Owl Tarot

Did I miss something?  I think that’s everything.

    I like it! I think it’s cute!

And knitters aren’t exactly known for their high fashion, which is fine, too. High fashion is super weird anyway.
