Sewing sewing la la la
I’m going to post more of the progress pics to the Facebook page so I don’t totally run out of storage space over here, but here’s where my current embroidery project stands right this minute:
I’m using a silk velvet for her body, so embroidering on top of it is a little bit of a learning process and I definitely have more work to go back and do on her eyelids and lips. But the massive swathes of hair are coming along!

I thought those were bandaids scattered about within the vine boundary, and then thought, “Wow, interesting image choice–so avant garde, so courageous!”
You will have heard the expression, “You need to get your eyes examined.” Why yes, I believe I do. With some degree of embarrassment, I suggest that we have not had this conversation, and, “These are not the droids you’re looking for.”
