Neurotic Owl

flying through clouds of uncertainty on wings of existential dread

I drew a thing!

My neck is all bitchy this weekend, which happens from time to time, and this time it includes my sewing arm (well, the shoulder) so odds are I did too much sewing and knitting in a bad position.

Soooo very frustrating few days of not letting myself do much handwork and being in too much pain for real workouts, but I did at least pick up my sketch pad for the first time in a while and draw something.

There’s another version of this coming with clownfish I think, but for now, please enjoy this truth speaking platypus puggle.

I sort of evangelize about rolfing.

It’s bodywork that addresses connective tissue (massage is for muscle, chiropractic for bone alignment, etc.) and it has given my life back to me. If I had a million dollars, every time I heard someone say something like you have, I’d hand them a voucher for two rolfing sessions (two because I just think you need to try it more than once to see if it helps you).

Since you don’t live in my neck of the woods, I feel ok about sending you to my rolfer’s website for information. (You can’t see him, so I’m not selling.) His site is really good, though, if you wanted to know more about rolfing. And you can ask me anything, too.

Those of us who do work of the hands need help!
