Weeklyish thingy and hey, remember this embroidery project?

I won’t blame you if you don’t. I was rocking along on this having a splendid time and then a. I added a snake to one of the long boxes but I just wasn’t happy with how it looked no matter what I did to it and b. I got stuck on trying to pick the right fabric for a raccoon.

Any time I lose momentum on a project there’s an excellent chance my brain squirrels will decide it’s time to lose interest too.

But yay, I suddenly felt like picking it up again the other day and once I had unpicked all my work on the snake (aaaagh) I had no trouble deciding that the same plush I used on the very first square for a bunny would be perfect for the raccoon.

So yaaay, one step closer to my Willow and Tara Barbies having a ridiculous quilt to sleep under!

It sounds like I get to see some friends thisweekend, including one who lives a few hours away now and I only see a couple of times a year, so yay for that!
