By the way, did I mention that these are based on the Rider-Waite tarot deck? It’s the one I know best, it’s full of lovely visual symbolism, and it’s public domain (in the US). I was thinking that I’d stop at the Major Arcana, but I might do the minor as well, because I feel much freer to be wildly unconventional with those. These are staying quite close to the source, although the High Priestess is up next, and I did change her more — the original design is loaded down with religious iconography that I’m not comfortable using.
