I know, you’re supposed to keep them in separate rooms and introduce them gradually, but A: my apartment’s pretty wee, B: Charlie’s always been super friendly and never aggressive to other cats, and C: I was leaving for a week in Paris the following Friday, so there was no time to waste.
Anyway, they’d been sniffing each other through the door all day, so there’s that.
