Aaand on to the next thing. Sort of.
I can’t lie, posting will remain less frequent for a bit, because while I have already started drawing this new project, I’ve also got a big furry suit to sew and holiday gifts to make (which will probably mostly be late, sorry guys) and so drawing is going to have to take a backseat for a bit. That being said, I’ve already started drawing historical women of awesomeness, because breaks are for normal people.
. . . which is where I could use some suggestions. See, I want to make sure I keep this thing diverse, and while I was lucky enough to have more than one teacher who deliberately focused on more than white Eurpean history, my education is still inevitably skewed. I’m planning to keep this 50% POC, so please, if you have someone to suggest, do. There’ll be contemporary ladies as well as historical ones (Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Malala Yousafzai, Maya Angelou) and a mix of artists, scientist, inventors, activists, and more. Help me expand my list?
