In which I try to worry less and do more.
Specifically, I’m looking at at least 6 days of lost work thanks to this fucking hurricane, maybe more. I am very lucky that I probably haven’t sustained any major property damage (maybe? We’ll see what happens with my poor soggy car), but even the lost pay alone is enough to put me in a very iffy position vis-a-vis rent and bills. I am exceedingly lucky to have very generous parents who can afford to help me out, but if I can get my ass in gear and sell some old stock, maybe they won’t have to.
So, keep an eye on my Etsy store if you were looking for masks, jewelry, paper dolls, fancy hats, or tarot cards. I obviously won’t get anything shipped out till the end of the week/start of next week, but as soon as I have clear roads and a functioning vehicle, I’ll have any packages ready to go. I just uploaded masks tonight (at about half price); I need to dig through my jewelry bin and make sure I still have what I think I have, and then I can renew a ton of discount jewelry listings. Hats will get added soon.
So, y’know, don’t feel obligated to buy anything, but if you know someone headed to a fancy dress party or just a fancy dress Tuesday, pass it on?
