The weekly thingy and some painting.

Work on the piece I’m pretty sure I’m calling Lucy Lippard is AFK continues! I still have some book spines and then all of the shelving to paint, but this is starting to feel right.

She has a range of bookshelf colours – all really saturated and vibrant – and I think what I want to do is choose one colour to be the frame edges but then make each of the alcoves one of a couple different colours. That way I can have pick something I like with the specific items in the shelf AND capture that vibrant rainbow feel of her home.

What’s making me happy this week:

I managed to clean most of my place while I had a week off a bit ago and while my living room still needs work it is SO nice to have the sewing room, bedroom, and bathroom in good shape. Hopefully on my next chunk of time off I finish the living room and tackle the kitchen, fingers crossed.
