Nope, don’t know why I typed it that way, either. Anyway, here’s what I’m currently playing with for a Redbubble calendar for 2014 — opinions please? Do you wish each month was one larger specialty drawing, or do you like me pulling holiday/time of year appropriate cartoons from mah archives? One larger one in the middle with archives around the edges?
I kind of feel like this layout feels a little bare in the negative space — I think I either want to add some little white line doodles around the cartoons or change up the layout, but I’m not sure. Anyway, here’s what I have mocked up for the moment for January:
Give me feedback or I’ll . . . I don’t know, decide for myself. I’m bad at threats.
I think I’d prefer one big one, but maybe off to one side with a row of smaller ones tiled down beside it? Does that make sense? These are all so cool that it would be a shame for them to get lost in each other on the page.
How much control over the calendar do you have? I’ve seen some that have a main graphic on the picture page and a small one at the end (or start) of the calendar page itself.
I thiiink I just control the 12 main images; I like that layout idea a lot, thanks!
