This was going to be relatively topical, but then last week vanished in a puff of lazy.
But whatever, I have done 6+ large, intricate ink drawings of, I don’t know, stuff this weekend because when I get on a kick I GET ON A KICK. Hopefully they’ll fit on the scanner at work on my lunch break tomorrow so I don’t have to photograph them. One day I will learn to draw everything 8 1/2 x 11 or smaller so that scanning is easy, but no, I won’t, I hate that size of paper for no good reason. I also insist on drawing with the Pilot precise V5 pens even though there are many better options out there that will not risk smearing when I erase, but I don’t LIKE them. They don’t feel right and they don’t look right and whatever, I just won’t use pencil, because that is a sane person’s solution. If Pilot ever stops making these damn pens I’m not sure how I’ll cope.
For someone who will doodle on any surface at all, I am weirdly picky.
