Neurotic Owl

flying through clouds of uncertainty on wings of existential dread

Ugh, today. Tomorrow I will be a rebel princess fighter again; today I am a lump of sad.

Speaking of our beloved General Organa, mental health care is yet another area threatened by Emperor Palpatine  Orange Garbagefire and his shitty, shitty me-first fuck everyone look at my gold toilet policies.  Mental Health America is a good place to find help if you need it and can’t afford it.

“Mental Health America (MHA) – founded in 1909 – is the nation’s leading community-based nonprofit dedicated to addressing the needs of those living with mental illness and to promoting the overall mental health of all Americans. Our work is driven by our commitment to promote mental health as a critical part of overall wellness, including prevention services for all, early identification and intervention for those at risk, and integrated care and treatment for those who need it, with recovery as the goal.”

Take care of yourselves and each other, moppets. May the Force be with us.

Leia was MY kind of princess. When all the other girls wanted to be Cinderella or Snow White, I wanted to be Princess Leia because she was beautiful and feminine and a total badass all at the same time.

May whatever deity you believe in bless and comfort your family in this time of loss, Carrie. ❤
