Also, hi, new people! There seem to be a bunch of you, thanks to the glorious light of the Bloggess shining briefly upon my blogtoon-thing. In case you’re wondering, I’m working on a coloring book at the moment. I feel like I need at least 50 drawings, so don’t hold your breath, it’s going to take a while. Also, please peruse old entries, but be aware that I take a whimsical (some would say irritating) approach to tagging, meaning they’re basically useless for actual navigating but great for choose-your-own-adventure style randomness.
Anyway. Politics. I feel like the Anti-Defamation League is a group you may or may not know about if you’re not Jewish? While they do focus on anti-semitism, they work to protect the rights of all people, and they have a great action board on their website. I particularly like that 7 of the 8 items currently listed on that board do NOT involve donating money. Donating is great, if you can you should, but not everyone can. I’m lucky enough to have worked a bunch of overtime and had great Redbubble sales lately, but there are definitely months when I live close to the bone, and I talked with friends recently who were feeling kind of shitty because they really can’t lay out money right now. Luckily, letters and phone calls and petition signing are all free! FREE, I say!
